Who we are
“Janora”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to Janora Pharmacy Limited, a community pharmacy operating in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, with branches at Queens Junction, Km 10 Benin Lagos Express Road, Oluku and No 11 Ekhoroutowen Street, Ekosodin. Our pharmacists are registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and we dispense medicines approved by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
What these Terms cover
These Terms apply when you visit our website, walk into one of our branches, send us a WhatsApp message, call our phone numbers, or otherwise engage with our services. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the services.
You must be at least 18 years old to enter into these Terms on your own behalf. Parents or guardians may use the services on behalf of a minor.
Pharmacist services
Our pharmacists provide medication counselling, point-of-care testing (including malaria, blood sugar and blood pressure screenings), and dispensing of prescription and over-the-counter medicines. These services are delivered in line with the standards of the PCN and applicable Nigerian pharmacy regulations.
We may decline to dispense any medicine where, in our professional judgement, doing so would be unsafe, contrary to law, or inconsistent with good pharmaceutical practice.
Prescriptions & WhatsApp orders
You may send a prescription to us by WhatsApp, present it in person, or share it by phone. For controlled medicines and any prescription-only product, we require a valid prescription issued by a licensed Nigerian medical practitioner before we will dispense.
WhatsApp messages are received during branch hours (8:00 to 22:00 daily). We will confirm availability and price before preparing your order. Orders are not considered accepted until we send you an explicit confirmation.
Pricing & payment
Prices are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦) and may change without notice. We do our best to keep displayed prices accurate, but the binding price for any item is the price confirmed at the point of sale. We accept cash and bank transfer; card payment is available at the counter where terminals are functional.
Receipts are issued for every transaction. Please keep your receipt; it is required for any return or follow-up enquiry.
Returns & refunds
In line with PCN guidance and public-safety practice, medicines that have left our counter cannot be returned for refund or exchange once they leave the premises, except where:
- the item is defective or expired at the point of sale;
- the wrong item was dispensed in error and the original packaging is unopened;
- the law otherwise requires us to accept a return.
Cosmetics, supplements and household essentials may be returned within 7 days of purchase if unopened, undamaged, and accompanied by a receipt.
